Question by Kayla: Can I use an iPhone with my current plan instead of buying an iPhone specific plan?
My current plan has family shared minutes, but unlimited texting and internet use. I am planning on buying an iPhone 3GS from a friend, would it work just fine with my current plan or do I have to have an iPhone specific plan?

It doesnt matter what plan are you on, you can still use your iphone, the only thing is, the Iphone should support your sim card.. am sure it would… Have a great time with your Iphone, ENjoy…

You might have to upgrade your plan to kind of like a smartphone plan but an iphone plan since it has all the extra email options and applications.
I am assuming that you are using the iphone with At&t. You can keep your current minutes but the data planned will be changed since they dont offer unlimited data anymore. They do offer unlimited text!
