  1. ey does anyone know any information or a site where the information is held about the jailbreak for 4.0 2g MC model for the ipod touch?

  2. @19800312 Ah, no there isn’t at the moment. But the good news is that there almost definitely will be several new programs that will be out within a couple weeks, so just sit tight and don’t update to anything. I’ll be sure to cover whatever jailbreak it is, so just check back to my channel in a little while.

  3. nothink just want to know if its some software avalible to jailbreak my 3gs i have 3.1.3 whith fu..ing new boot room and still waiting for jailbreak.

  4. @19800312 I’ve never heard of any problems with ToolJail in XP before…well what are you trying to do? Just send me a PM and I’ll be your human ToolJail. 😛

  5. @duncan33303 Oh thank you man. I never thought that it is so easy just hold SHIFT and click restore. Ok, I’ll do that tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Thank you so much for all your help, you are great. Thank you for being here for us. I am a girl and it’s sometimes to get what you guys are saying in technical terms. LOL. 🙂

  8. Sure. Just open up iTunes with your iPhone plugged in then where it says restore instead of clicking it hold the Shift key when you click it. It will let you pick out the firmware you want, so just select the 3.1.2.

Could you please walk me through how to update via iTunes using downloaded firmware? I downloaded firmware already, now how would I connect it to iTunes? Thank you so much. 🙂 🙂 🙂

  10. Yes, you have to use iTunes. It’s no big deal, just download iPhone 3G 3.1.2 firmware and use iTunes to restore to it.

@duncan33303 Thanks man! I’ll definitely follow your advice. So I am going to update my 2.1 to 3.1.2. Is iTunes the only program through which I can update? My phone has troubles connecting to it and plus it has that 3.1.3 version that everybody saying to run away from b/c the phone will be unlocked forever. So I am kinda scared even to go there not to accidentally hit it…
