Question by Ayman: What are the options that wouldn’t work on an unlocked iPhone outside the US?
I don’t live in US, and the iPhone is not, and will probably never be, available in my country. So I might buy an unlocked one, so it wouldn’t have to work with AT&T. But I was wondering, what would be the inconvenients? What are the options that wouldn’t work on an unlocked iPhone OUTSIDE THE US? Would GPS work? Would google maps work? Would the internet work? etc. And are there any other risks/inconvenients for unlocking it?

i’ve seen lots and lots of ads that say free sidekick lx or free iphone and free ipod etc. i was just wondering if those things work and how can they give a way those things for FREE?

Yeah they are real and they do work, but you have to give your credit card info for the “free offers” and when you sign up for these free offers you have to call and cancel before then end of your free trial period, or else you will get billed a lot of money for crap you don’t want…
Like video professor… if you don’t cancel before the trial is up you will get charged like per lesson and they will keep sending them.
read what they will actually charge if you don’t cancel… it’s not really worth it. i wouldn’t do it. I heard a lot of stories about how people try to call and cancel and get the run around and they make it so hard for you to cancel that you just hang up.
don’t give these people your credit or debit card numbers… just go buy an iphone or sidekick… it will be cheaper in the end. You have to full fill so many offers before you get your “Free” product.
