The screen on my iPhone is cracked, but I just learned that I can replace it myself if I purchase the repair kit. Does anyone know stores that are carrying this item? Also, does anyone have any tips when repairing the screen?

Hi there!

before attempting this repair yourself, please consider the fact that if you are not trained and familiar with this repair, there is a good chance you will crack your LCD. We handle a lot of repairs from people who had attempted this repair themselves, only to do further damage to their device.

Our class is doing this video movie in groups and basically the one with the most scenes at different locations where there are iPhones will win. So we need to find all the iPhone display locations nearby to get the highest chance of winning. So far we know: AT$ T Store, Walmart?, Target? (ours dont have one)… what else?

I want to buy an iPhone sometime soon, but I’d rather wait if the 2nd gen is coming our in the next few months. So if anyone you know when it is going to be available in stores, please answer!

Anything anyone tells you is rumor, and most rumors I’ve heard say it will be in the early part of 2008.
