Colocation Firm Mac Mini Vault Uses Apple TV as Web Server in 24-Hour Experiment
May 20, 2011 — Colocation provider Mac Mini Vault tested an Apple TV as a web server, and on Friday announced “the surprising result was that nothing crashed, nothing died, nothing even got warm to the touch,” according to a blog post. The experiment started as a tweet, and became a 24-hour test with nearly 15,000 unique visitors.
