I want to buy an iPhone sometime soon, but I’d rather wait if the 2nd gen is coming our in the next few months. So if anyone you know when it is going to be available in stores, please answer!

i just pre-ordered my iphone 4 16gb ($ 199) through apple.com and the sales tax is $ 58.41 which brings the total to $ 257.41

It’s not sales tax. Even California doesn’t have a 29% sales tax rate.
