  1. At first I thought “eh, they’ll chuck it down some stairs and it will be really underwhelming”, but I’ll be damned if you didn’t beat the crap out of that thing. Now if only I had a mobile.

  2. The case might be the best available now, but the holster seems lacking. It’s really preference, but having the phone face inward into a holster seems important especially this case. On any other case maybe not, but you expose the weakest part of the case ALL the time this way unless you pocket the device.

  3. I accidentally ran over my phone the day after I got this case and it only gave minor cosmetic damage to the case. This case is a must have if you drop shit like me.

  4. Great job with the tough case!! Can I give a suggestion? Or may be 2 ?  1)You may wish to add a latch or some sort for the camera lens cover to keep it open for photo or video shootings.  2)Also, a full size holster would really make the package a complete one, not to mention giving it a more invincible protection.  Hope you guys at griffin would consider my inputs. 🙂 Again, GREAT PRODUCT! 🙂

  7. @ontheedgeaustin Yes, it was the same case the whole time in the video. Here’s the durability information.
Integral Display shield deflects Wind/Rain (Test: Up to 200 mm/hr for 1 hour)
Rigid internal frame protects from Shock/Drop (Test: Drop on flat concrete surface from 6’/1.8 m)
Sealed ports block Blown Sand/Dust (up to 18 m/sec for 1 hour)
Silicone cladding blocks vibration (18 hrs at 20-2000 Hz)
We needed to be as rough as we could be with it, to be clear what it could withstand. Thanks.

  8. That was amazing, although I have a couple of questions. Is there any way else that you prove to me that it was the same phone the whole time? Also, was it the same case the whole time? Is it almost waterproof, sand proof, etc? Last but not least, why did you do those cruel things to a beautiful piece of art? A few large drops would have satisfied me, but really, you had to run it over with a car? Sob, sob 🙁 Anyway, this is awesome, I will definitely pick this this up! Look out OtterBox!
