Very nice setup of my MacMini G4. Some short details:

Hardware
– Mac Mini G4 1.4GHz
– Keyspan FrontRow Remote
– Belkin USB/FW Hub
– HP All-in-one Printer

Software
– (Hacked) FrontRow
– Stattoo (nice stats on desktop when FrontRow is turned off)
– Menushade (makes the menu hide)

  1. Hi, I used the Front Row Enabler (do a google search 😉 ). Front row itself can be downloaded from the Apple site.

  2. Apple sells these nice adapters from the DVI port to component (yellow wire). Then you add a headphone jack to 2 components wires (red and white). Now add to that a component to scart converter block and tadaaa: you’ve got it connected.

    I must admit, in the future I will move the audio off the tv and into some dedicated speakers.
