my aunt is trying to buy an iphone from a friend, but wants to stick with tmobile. how do you do that and what exactly does 1.1.3 firmware do? does it unlock it?

the 1.1.3 adds applications and features to the iphone, doesnt unlock it. now about the t-mobile. what happens is that the iphone only works with an O2 sim card. what you can do is transfer your t number to the O2 account and get a contract with O2 but keep your old number or else you have to unlock the iphone
