I got this privacy screen protector, even at its ridiculous price, cause it was the only available screen protector I can find in-store. The image and text quality went from clear to fuzzy. The “privacy” effect does not only work from the sides, but also works partly on the main viewing angle.
I will be switching to another screen protector for sure, as soon as I find one available. Too bad that this kind of accessory is not something stores would have available to show samples of before you buy. I wouldn’t recommended for anyone to get this.

Makes the icons and text appear fuzzy when viewing. Did reduce the visibility from side angles, but not enough to be totally private. Using the supplied card to smooth out the bubbles during the application process, left marks on the surface of the screen protector, wasn’t even pressing hard, just enough to get a few air bubbles pushed to the sides. Returning the item. Not worth the price given the distorted visibility.

If you are looking for an opaque, very secure privacy screen to isolate what you do from your seatmate on an airplane, this product could work.
However, it is soooo opaque, even with the screen at full brightness that it rendered the screen difficult to read, especially book text.
You lose the magic of the beautiful screen with this product.
There are other products for laptop screens that work much better. If you think this is similar, think again. It is not.
I am sure those other vendors will come up with something much better. I will wait.
