Question by J.T Still A Legend!: How can i repair my iphone Water Damaged?
My iphone was put into a washing machine.. it didn’t turn on at first but i finally got it turned on and the screen had a water patch in it but that went away after awhile. The only problems left now is the wifi it doesn’t pick up any wifi signals and the camera doesn’t work, when the camera comes on its just a bright green screen..
Any DIY ways of repairing this or any other ways let me know…

You shouldn’t have turned it on. You’ve probably fried it. Take the battery and sim card out. Submerge everything in a covered container of rice. Leave them there for a few days. The longer the better. If it doesn’t work after that, you need a new phone.

There are companies out there that repair phones. You can try searching “repair iphone” here http://www.iphonemallonline.com
its pretty much gone, and you will need to buy a new one. Repair costs would equal to the cost of a new one. Also there is a chance that the inside will start to corrode and the phone will stop working all together.
Something you can try: (Do at your own risk).
Turn the phone on, disable the autolock in the settings and leave the screen on. Let the phone run with the screen on untill it doesnt have enough batteries to run and shuts itself off.
Get a glass and fill it with rubbing alcohol.
Take out your simcard/simcard tray
Drop the phone into the glass of rubbing alcohol for a few seconds so that all goes inside onto all the parts. Then take the phone out.
Try and drain out as much of the rubbing alcohol as you can when you first take it out. Then let it sit and dry for 2-3 days before you do anything with it (no charging for 2-3 days).
The rubbing alcohol should help to dry out the phone and get rid of any exess water that may be inside and stop it from corroding.
