@Archicad Briliant! Thanks for the response! It looks like it could be cool. Now if I could only find the hidden paintball mode… 😉
@pure7734 You can switch between left and right handed modesin the BIMx settings. the left-handed/right-handed naming is sort of screwed up, that’s true :).
This looks excellent. I really hope, though, that this is showing off the left handed controls for the app and not the standard ones, as it is opposite to all right handed first person control conventions. For right handed use the joystick should be on the left, with look navigation done with the right hand. I didn’t see an option in the settings for right vs. left controls, but adding this would correct the problem.

I disagree, launching this on Android would be a smart decision, there is nothing to lose, there are plenty of Android users that would love to get this app. Where’s the greed in a cross-platform application? Everybody wins. Every piece of software had to start from somewhere, and at the time of ArchiCAD’s release, MAC OS was the practical way to go, and now it is offered for both MAC and Windows. Your opinion is completely bias.
Take a breather man.
@jifdc
Archicad came out when Mac OS was the only real operating system ,to me it is only natural that they launch-it on the iPhone before any other 2nd grade phone OS ,it is only a sign of intelligence and professionalism instead of corporate greed and stupid reckless strategy .
what’s happened with ipad sizes??? it’s so square.
And when it comes ti Itunes?
Just can’t wait this, love it
This needs to come out on Android as well. Why make it exclusively for the iPad and iPhone? I don’t get it. Any plans for an Android version of this app?
Just yesterday, I said to a co-worker, “There should be a way to view my model on an iPad. How hard could it be?” In the morning, there’s this. Wow! I’m such a visionary! 🙂
ES GENIAL!!!! POR FIN UNA HERRAMIENTA PERFECTA PARA TODOS LOS ARQUITECTOS CON IPAD QUE UTILIZAN BIM!!! 😉
