  1. @duganator100 LOL you dumbass, did you know that ASUS is coming out with a Dual screen laptop soon, that runs Windows 7, and that was the ONLY reason they came out with the Ipad. Think about, why waste money on a the Ipad when the Iphone does everything it does already. they just needed to make something to compete with the dual screen laptop, and they failed. So you go buy the Ipad, Im gonna go buy the Asus Dual screen Laptop =), which is 100 times better than this shit.

  2. last time i checked.. net books are not supposed to be better than a laptop…i know lots of people who use it for work its mobile and easy to use if you dont have ds.they can do WAY FUCKING MORE THAN THE IPAD holy shizzz wheres my multitasking? camera? USB port? video insnt even 16:9 i have all the apps a ipad can have on my iphone its cool n all but netbooks take you wayyyy further

  3. @nancysucksatsinging Like I told the other guy, iWork works great, websites load snappy, and flash is a non-issue. In my life, all I need is something light and thin to go on the internet and use some office apps occasionally. Apple haters will probably be the first ones to get the first Android tablets and will stop bitching. You guys are just like the laptop haters of the early 90’s. Haters. Just bandwagon riders. When, HP or Dell, or Motorola copies Apple, you will all forget about it.

  4. @Cheedillow Tablet PC’s as in thick laptops with crappy touchsceens and a stylus right? Because those are all the tablets i’ve ever seen out of the likes of Dell, HP, Toshiba, etc. For all intents and purposes, iOS is technically Mac OS X. Except, the launcher is all over the screen and the buttons are bigger for fingers. The iPad is fast, the iWork suite works perfectly and i’ve yet to run into flash issues. You should really try one out before you jump on the “it’s a big iPhone” bandwagon.

  5. @duganator100

Even if there is one other, its enough.

Tablet PCs have been around for a while, Steve Jobs just tells you he invented it, like with all his other products.

Also given that its essentially a big iPhone (minus a camera and phone call capabilities) it should be the same price or cheaper than an iPhone.

  6. @KATTANATEMA

If you knew me (and you don’t) you’d know that I’m more sympathetic to socialism than capitalism – but either one left spiralling out of control leads to a similarly destructive concentration of power.

I’m just saying that netbooks are handy for people to get onto a full version of the web cheaply, for some light browsing in a small form factor. Also, I’d say that iPads without stands don’t match netbooks for typing.

By the way, I own a Mac and I eagerly await the 4th Gen Touch.

  7. Thing about netbooks is that they’re not meant to be fantastic at anything. For the price and portability, they’re meant to be *good enough* – and quite a few of them are if you’re willing to shop around.
