Question by Shawn: Why did everyone copy iPhone’s technology?
Steve Jobs said when he announced the iPhone, that they used lots of patents to protect it from being copied. So if they did that–how come everything is almost exactly like the iPhone?

Nobody is copying the phone 100%. But there were touchscreens out before the introduction of the iphone for other devices. So it’s not that hard to find your way around the patents.
