Hey guys I replaced glass but for some reasons when i push on the glass it hits the wrong apps. I am tring to hit the apps but the one I am tring to hit it will hit the one next to it. What could be wrong?
@fizbin321 To answer my own question. Yes. 🙂 My guess is most of the pros use the entire frame/glass/digitizer. Can be done very quickly once you get the hang of it. They probably get these for super cheap in China
Can you not buy the glass/digitizer with the bracket, so you don’t have to do the glue thing? I don’t see how people do this professionally. You couldn’t do anymore than a few phones a day and there is no margin for error.
@smoothske make sure you properly attached cable #2 back to the bottom assembly. You probably didn’t snap it in there enough to make contact. Good luck!
THANK YOU!!! I just went through this and it went flawlessly. It looks/works like brand new. Saved myself $200 by doing this instead of having the Apple Store “fix” it for me.
what can i do?
replaced it and it turned on but the touch screen doesnt work it just stays on the lockscreen because i cant unlock it because there is no touch
