Question by Sam Clark: Can i excange information from my iphone 3G to the Iphone 4G im going to get?
Im going to buy an Iphone 4G. Right now i have an Iphone 3G. I have a ton of songs and apps on my current iphone. When i get my Iphone 4G is there a way that I can switch the info from one to the other without screwing something up?

It isn’t a 4G phone first. It is just the iPhone 4.
You will be able to transfer your purchases onto your computer, and then transfer them over to your new iphone. I recommend calling apple tech support when you get your new phone. Make sure you are at your computer with itunes installed, your cable, and an internet connection.
If you have been synching your iPhone 3G with your computer (using iTunes) then all of your music, apps, etc. are backed up on that computer. When you plug your iPhone 4 into that computer, iTunes will ask if you want to put all that stuff on the new phone. Answer Yes. 🙂
Sync you old iPhone 3G to iTunes.
Then simply plug your new iPhone 4 into your computer and iTunes will start up. This will activate the iPhone. You will be able to restore from backup and all of your data will be copied to your new iPhone 4.
