Question by Selgomez: How do you get the applications button on your iPod touch/iPhone?
Please give me the steps to get the application button on the iPod touch/ iPhone accurately(like anyone could do these steps today and not find it doesn’t work anymore) and make sure you know what you’re talking about. I don’t want any answers that are guessing. Thanx.

well if u are referring to the app store button, you would need to update the software to atleaset 2.0
plug ipod touch/iphone into itunes and click on update, u may need to pay for it with the touch, this will then put it on the front screen,
if already on there but hidden then, goto settings, general and then restrictions and turn this restriction to off
ONCE YOU JAILBREAK IT YOU WILL HAVE HAVE ALL THE BUTTONS U WANT. even that one u said

Remember to update to firmware 2.2 all you need to do is:
1. Launch iTunes
2. Click update and choose your firmware 2.2 IPSW file
3. iTunes will take care of the rest! 🙂
If you want to restore to firmware 2.2 or another firmware all you need to do is:
1. Launch iTunes
2. Shift-click Restore for Windows users and option-click restore for Mac users
3. Choose your .IPSW file that you want to restore to
4. iTunes will do the rest!
I think you need to install the second generation software onto your iPod Touch.
